Jesus wept!

Tears are sometimes the best words the heart can say! That was told to me by a very special person in my life! You know who you are and even though I doubt you'll read this thank you!

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future!"-Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

My first mission trip= HARD CORE!

So we went to Mission Arlington on Sunday and came home Thursday night. So much took place through out this week. There was a total of 3 teenage boys, one 8 year old boy, and 7 teenage girls. We had only to adults go. So we had about 13 people there! Well putting 7 teenage girls in one bedroom for a week is no bueno! :D haha. Lots of drama this week. But God was there, he was surrounding us, I could feel him all around! I'm so glad I went!!! We did several things while were there. In the mornings we went to pick up donated furniture from people's houses. There was furniture from clothes, to hospital beds, to refrigerators, to swingsets. But it was fun. Then in the afternoons we did, what Mission Arlington calls, Rainbow Express. Each church was asigned an appartment complex, we got Aspen Woods! We went and knocked on EVERY DOOR and asked the kids if they wanted to come out and play with us. We did a puppet show, we had music, we played games, we had a memory verse, and we had the bible study! I had so much fun. There were 2 girls I really connected with though and will never forget. They were sisters. Vanessa was the oldest and she's 7, and her little sister Kamila (Kami) is 3. Vanessa and I hung out alot and talked quite a bit. She know's English because she's in school, but for the most part all the kids spoke spanish (which only one person in our youth group knew spanish and she didn't know very much). So I talked with Vanessa and gave her a Bible and played with her! And Kami spoke Spanish so I just carried her around and held her close and I loved them both! Kami even though she couldn't understand me, was latched on to me and I didn't want to leave either one of them! :( I loved them. Any way the mission trip was great and I know God was there!

Family Photos

We got family pictures taken today! They are so cute! I LOVE MY FAMILY! They rock. So my brother, my sisters, and I all got our picture taken with out mom and Miranda (the girl we are adopting). Any way my big sister sat in my lap, and my youngest sister sat in her lap, and my brother was leaning on them, and my other younger sister was leaning on my shoulders. . .IT WAS AN ADORABLE PICTURE! Well since I'm little bitty and everyone was on top of me I started to fall off of the seat. And right when we started leaning is right when she snapped the picture. . .then she snapped one while we were falling :) But they were GREAT pictures. Those two were my favorite! Any way I praise God for AWESOME family time! Later. . .

Feelin' kinda carsick. . .

Okay so today was a fabulous day. Slept in until 12:45pm this afternoon. Then my sisters, mom, and I all sat in the living room and just conversated with one another. Then, we went and took Tiffany to my gradma's house and picked up my brother. We went to go see Karate Kid. It was a very good movie. I loved it! After the movie we went to the best store ever. . . walmart and to Taco Bell/KFC! The food was DISTGUSTING! After we ate we went to the park. Then started home. Well we went over what I call the Valley Hills. Because our church is called Valley Creek Baptist Church and it sits on a road of ALOT of hills. Our van has 4 seats and there was 6 of us in the van. So my brother was in his car seat. Mom and Miranda were up front, and Alexandra and Whitney shared a seat. That leaves me. . .I HATE RIDING IN A CAR WITH NO SEAT BELT!!! As many accidents as my dad has been in with us it scares me not to have on a seat belt. Well in this case I had no choice so I sat on the floor board. I could see nothing out the windows besides the tops of the trees and clouds. . .so going over those hills and around S-curves made me REALLY dizzy. Wow what a ride. . .lol. So lesson learned- in the Bible where it says to obey the laws of the land, there's a good reason why! SO YOU DON'T GET CAR SICK. . .lol. Any way God blessed me today with the time I had to fellowship with family. . .and as this day comes to an end I praise God for allowing it to be so wonderful. Now I'm going to help my mom send resume's to churches!

PS: Praise God!!!!!

God bless the US of A

It's July 5th now. And I had a superb Freedom Day!! I spent it fellowshiping with my family and loving people of my church!

WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. . .please remember only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you. . .JESUS CHRIST and the AMERICAN SOLDIERS! One died for your soul, the other died for your freedom! GOD BLESS THE USA!

Friday, the 2nd, my friend that I haven't seen in 3-4 years came over and saw me. His name is Brian. It was slightly weird but I enjoyed his company and learned that I do miss the old days but maybe God's telling me to stop lingering in my past. That's probably the hardest thing though because I hate change so I hold onto what hasn't changed. . .my memories. I'm scared of losing them and scared of more change to come. Any way I am glad I got to see him.

Okay so I have a friend named Madeline. She has Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and is eventually (probably sooner than later but hopefully not) going to die. Well one of my favorite TV series to watch is Touched By An Angel. It's so good. Well I watched one about a 10 year old boy that had CF and died. It made me cry so hard but it's been my favorite one yet. I'm so scared though that Madeline will die. But if/when she does die I hope that she dies like he did. He died surrounded by angels feeling loved and accomplished and that's everything I could wish for, for Madeline. In six months they are going to test her for a lung transplant and hopefully get her on the list to help prolong her life. I guess this is where I trust you, God? Huh? Anyway so please be keeping her in your prayers.

I really should start reading my bible more so please pray that God just takes hold of my heart and gives me the willingness and desire to read more please! I LOVE YOU GOD AND KNOW YOUR WILL BE DONE!!!

~Good night~

First Blogg

Okay so this is the first time I've done this so I'm a little lost and confused. Luckily for me I'm a fast learner. Speaking of which I'm quickly learning that having a family is not the easiest thing in the world. . .lol. I do love my family though and I'm so grateful for them. Even our newest addition Miranda. Well not yet an addition but soon very soon. My mom is adopting her. She's 18 and will be a senior this year. We've known her for ever! I'm excited, jealous, and scared all at the same time but I know my God is in control. Well for my first blog that's all. . .I'll be back soon to write more :)
